June - a high quality lawn fertiliser will be applied using a professional drop spreader. This should give your lawn a deep green colour for at least 3 months. If weeds persist, then weed, feed and moss-killer can be applied. Approximately 2 weeks later, your lawn will be scarified (if needed) to remove thatch and dead moss, then mowed to tidy it up and leave it in good condition for Summer. Weeds not killed off after the first treatment, generally disappear after the second.
Sept. - Autumn lawn feed applied using a professional drop spreader. Approximately 2 weeks later, your lawn will be scarified (if needed) to remove thatch, then mowed to tidy it up and leave it in good condition for Winter.
NB. The grass shouldn't be cut 3 days before and 4 days after the chemical treatments. If it doesn't rain in the 4 days following the chemical treatment then you will need to water it in yourself. The scarification visits create rather a lot of dead grass to be disposed of - so make sure you order yours for a time when your green bin is empty!
COST (for lawns up to 100 square metres)
The 3 chemical treatment visits are £18 minimum per visit. For larger lawns it will be an extra £9 per 50 square metres. The 2 (or 3) scarifying (& mowing) visits are £35 per visit. You can book the whole year's worth, just order what you require, or pay as you go. There is no need for anyone to be at home during these visits - just give me access to the lawns and I will leave an invoice if necessary.
